We support individuals who are earnestly striving to build their own paths, navigating careers and full-time jobs, often enduring daily commutes ranging from 30 to 75 minutes. Our dedication lies in assisting those profoundly affected by the elevated cost of living in Southwest Florida. We focus on serving the under-resourced, recognizing that the scarcity of time is as crucial as financial constraints when it comes to limited resources. We give a hand-up never a hand-out.

ESSENTIAL STAFF
We aim to support individuals who are capable of self-sufficiency, but rising economic pressures are leaving many with limited financial resources each month. This challenge particularly affects our dedicated first responders and essential workers, who often travel long distances to serve our community. As an organization, it's our responsibility to express gratitude to these individuals and provide assistance where needed, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to our society.

HOLIDAY RELIEF
While the holidays are typically a time of celebration, they can also bring stress and financial fatigue for many families. No parent wants their child to feel disappointed or overlooked by Santa Clause. Our goal is to ensure that every child experiences the magic of the season through our Dear Santa program. At our unique Tinsel Team Headquarters, we empower those that are working hard for themselves and rarely do not ask for assistance. We provide a service like no other during the holiday season.

It's difficult to fathom that in Southwest Florida, the most fundamental necessities like socks, pajamas, and underwear are in desperate demand. The reality is, due to the high cost of living paired with the fact that children have several growth spurts a year, it has become the norm for some individuals to lack these essential items. This deprivation extends beyond just physical comfort, affecting the ability to enjoy a good night's sleep, maintain proper hygiene, and sustain a solid mental state of mind.

Meet Beverly
Meet Beverly, the spirited mother of our founder. Throughout her life, Beverly navigated mental health challenges while searching earnestly for purpose. In her later years, dementia clouded her mind, causing her to forget those she held dear. As names faded from memory, she lovingly referred to everyone as "Angel." Following Beverly's passing, Faith was inspired to honor her mother's legacy, giving rise to Beverly's Angels. In memory of Beverly, this initiative aims to uplift and support others, embodying the compassionate spirit that defined her life.
Faith considers it a profound blessing to have served as her mother's caregiver. Having witnessed the strong desire among seniors for a sense of independence and recognizing the insufficient resources available to our under-resourced senior citizens, we acknowledge and honor her mother's influence. Thanks to a generous grant from the Mooring Park Foundation, we proudly operate a funded program dedicated to supporting seniors.

Navigating through the uncharted waters of a crisis was something I never anticipated. Witnessing our home burn to the ground, I found myself encountering roadblocks at every turn. It was disheartening to feel reduced to just a social security number rather than a person. Being inherently self-reliant, the sense of helplessness was particularly brutal.
With each phone call, I braced myself for yet another rejection. However, something unexpected happened. On the other end of the line, I encountered a ray of sunshine. Every moment spent talking to them made me feel special, as if I was somehow helping myself. What we received surpassed anything I could have imagined.
Arriving at their boutique, I had resigned myself to receiving whatever they had available. To my amazement, there were soft sheets and cozy blankets in our favorite colors, along with character bedding for the children. The gift of eight basic essential items for our kitchen provided everything needed to gather my family around the dining table and feel whole again. With a full belly, bath time now came with new fresh towels and even a rubber ducky. In that moment, we experienced the magic of kindness. They provided my husband and me with everything we needed to get back on our feet, restoring our faith that everything was going to be okay.
Months later as the holidays approached, I received a call from Faith informing me that Santa had placed my children on his nice list. To my surprise and delight, he had left a trove of toys and goodies for me to choose from. Our temporary home was transformed into a haven of love, filled with toys and the enchantment of Christmas, all thanks to the caring support of Beverly's Angels.
RENT RELIEF RESOURCE
In our hometown, the above-average cost of living is widely acknowledged. This reality has a notable impact on crucial community contributors. Beverly's Angels is dedicated to supporting individuals who are already striving to help themselves, many of whom have never sought aid. Unfortunately, for many, the ongoing challenge has become their everyday reality. Our commitment lies in aiding these invaluable residents who consider Southwest Florida their home. One of the avenues through which we provide support is our Rent Assistance program.

Faith Schwalback is a dynamic and passionate individual, holding the roles of founder and board member at both Beverly's Angels and her eponymous company, Faith Schwalback. As a successful mastermind mentor and coach, she positively transforms lives on a daily basis. Faith's influence extends far beyond her immediate community, garnering recognition not only from local news but also on a national level. Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News interviewed her regarding the creation of The Kindness Squad, highlighting her unwavering dedication to community work and culture. In addition to her roles as an author and entrepreneur, Faith is a magnetic force and an inspirational motivational speaker.
Beyond her professional achievements, Faith's personal life is as fulfilling as her career. Married to her high school sweetheart, Scott, the couple forms a robust support system, acting as a wellspring of inspiration and motivation for Faith's endeavors in the non-profit sector.
